Cartly's analytics reports provide insights into your store's cart behavior, product performance, and upsell effectiveness. These reports help you track the customer journey from adding products to cart through to purchase, identify which products perform well or get abandoned, and measure the success of your cart upsell strategies.
Note: It can take 24–48 hours before the latest data appears in your reports.

View your analytics reports
Cartly provides three main analytics reports that you can access from the Analytics section of the Cartly app.
Steps:
From your Shopify admin, navigate to Apps > Cartly Slide Cart Drawer.
Click on the Analytics tab in the navigation menu.
Select one of the available reports:

Overview analytics report
The Analytics overview report provides a summary of your cart's performance, showing conversion rates across the purchase funnel, top products added to and removed from the cart, and upsell performance metrics.
By default, the report shows data for the last 30 days compared to the previous period, but you can adjust the date range using the date picker.
Conversion rate section
The conversion rate section displays a visual representation of how many customers progress through your purchase funnel:
Added to cart: Number of times products were added to the cart
Reached checkout: Number of times customers proceeded to checkout
Purchased: Number of completed purchases
You can view this data in three different formats:
Unique sessions: Counts each event once per customer per session
Value per customer: Average value of products at each stage per customer
Total value: Total worth of all products at each stage
The following columns are in the conversion rate section:
Term | Description |
Conversion rate | Percentage of sessions that resulted in online store orders, out of the total number of added to cart |
Added to cart | The number of times products were added to the cart during the selected time period |
Reached checkout | The number of times customers proceeded to checkout during the selected time period |
Purchased | The number of completed purchases during the selected time period |
Products section
The Products section shows the top products that were added to or removed from the cart during the selected period.
The following columns are in the top products tables:

Product name | The name of the product |
Count | Number of times the product was added to or removed from cart |
% change | Percentage change compared to the previous period |
Upsell performance section
The Upsell performance section summarizes the effectiveness of your upsell strategies.
The following metrics are included in the upsell performance summary:

Total upsells added revenue | The total revenue generated from products added via upsell methods |
Total upsell sales | The number of products purchased through upsell methods |
Product cart analytics report
The Product cart analytics report provides detailed insights into how individual products perform in your cart. This report helps you understand which products have high add-to-cart rates, which are frequently removed, and which have the best conversion to purchase.
The following columns are in the Product cart analytics report:
Term | Description |
Product | The name of the product |
Added to cart | Total count of how many times this product was added to the cart |
Removed from cart | Total count of how many times this product was removed from the cart |
Removal rate | Percentage calculated as (Items removed from cart / Items added to cart) × 100 |
Reached checkout | Total count of how many times this product proceeded to checkout |
Purchased | Total number of this product purchased |
Purchase rate | Percentage calculated as (Purchased / Items added to cart) × 100 |
Revenue | Total revenue generated by this product, calculated as Price × Purchased |
You can sort the table by any column to identify trends and patterns in your product performance.
Upsell performance report
The Upsell performance report analyzes how effective your different upsell strategies are at generating additional revenue. You can view performance metrics for various upsell types and see which products perform best as upsells.
The report includes filters to view All, Active, Disabled, or Deleted upsell types.

The following columns are in the Upsell types table:

Upsell type | The category of upsell (AI upsell, Product add-ons, Manual upsell, etc.) |
State | Whether the upsell is Active, Disabled, or Deleted |
Impression | Number of times the upsell widget was displayed to customers |
Clicks | Number of times customers clicked on the upsell widget |
Purchased | Number of products purchased through the upsell widget |
Revenue | Total revenue generated from products purchased through the upsell |
CTR (Click-Through Rate) | Percentage calculated as (Clicks / Impressions) × 100 |
CVR (Conversion Rate) | Percentage calculated as (Purchased / Impressions) × 100 |
Products in upsells table
The Products in upsells table shows performance metrics for individual products used in upsells:
Term | Description |
Product | The name of the product used as an upsell |
Upsell type | The category of upsell this product was used in |
Impression | Number of times this product was displayed as an upsell |
Clicks | Number of times customers clicked on this product when displayed as an upsell |
Purchased | Number of times this product was purchased through an upsell |
Revenue | Total revenue generated from this product when purchased as an upsell |
CTR (Click-Through Rate) | Percentage calculated as (Clicks / Impressions) × 100 |
CVR (Conversion Rate) | Percentage calculated as (Purchased / Impressions) × 100 |
Exporting reports
You can export any of the analytics reports as a CSV file for further analysis:
Click the Export button at the top of the report page.
In the export modal, click Export to download the CSV file.
The file will begin downloading, and the modal will close automatically.
