Understanding Cartly Analytics Reports

Cartly's analytics reports give you a clear picture of your store's cart behavior, product performance, and upsell effectiveness. Use them to track the customer journey from cart addition through to purchase, spot which products are driving conversions or getting abandoned, and measure how well your upsell strategies are working.

Note: It can take 24–48 hours before the latest data appears in your reports.

Analytics overview

The Analytics overview report is your high-level snapshot of cart and upsell performance. By default, it displays data for the last 30 days compared to the previous period. You can adjust the date range at any time using the date picker at the top of the page.

Upsell performance section

The Upsell performance section on the overview summarizes the overall impact of your upsell strategies. It includes the following metrics:

Description

Total upsells added revenue

The total revenue generated from products added through Cartly cart upsell

Total upsell sales

The number of products purchased through Cartly cart upsell

Upsell performance report

The Upsell performance report gives you a detailed breakdown of how your different upsell strategies are performing. You can see which upsell types are generating the most revenue and identify which products work best as upsells.

Filtering the report

Use the filter options to narrow down the data by upsell status:

  • All

  • Active

  • Disabled

  • Deleted

Upsell types

The upsell types table shows performance metrics broken down by upsell category. Here's what each column means:

Column

Description

Upsell type

The category of upsell — for example, AI upsell, Product add-ons, or Manual upsell

State

Whether the upsell is [Active] [Disabled] [Deleted]

Impressions

Number of times the upsell widget was displayed to customers

Clicks

Number of times customers clicked on the upsell widget

Purchased

The count of unique products purchased via this upsell type, regardless of quantity per order

Revenue

Total revenue generated from products purchased through the upsell

CTR (Click-Through Rate)

Percentage of impressions that resulted in a click — (Clicks ÷ Impressions) × 100

CVR (Conversion Rate)

Percentage of impressions that resulted in a purchase — (Purchased ÷ Impressions) × 100

Exporting reports

You can export any analytics report as a CSV file for further analysis in a spreadsheet. To export a report:

  1. Click the Export button at the top of the report page.

  2. In the export modal, click Export to download the CSV file.

  3. The file will begin downloading automatically and the modal will close.
