The Installment payment offer appears inside the cart drawer and shows shoppers that they can pay in installments.
Installment payment offer allows you to display a message such as "or 4 payments of $40.00 with" next to your provider's logo, so customers see a smaller number before they decide.
The amount is calculated from the cart total, so the message updates as the cart changes.
How to enable installment payment offer?
In the app, go to Custom Cart.
In the left sidebar, open Features → Installment payment.
In the Installment payment offer panel, click Enable.
What you can configure:
Quantity of payments — how many instalments the total is split into (default: 4)
Installment payment label — the message text. You can use the variables
{{quantity_of_payments}}and{{installment_amount}}Show installment provider logo — display a provider logo next to the message. Choose from Afterpay, Klarna, Affirm, Shop Pay or Sezzle, in several styles
Custom image — upload your own logo instead (.gif, .jpg or .png)
Note: This message is informational. Your provider still needs to be set up in your Shopify payment settings for customers to actually pay in instalments.
