Express checkout buttons appear inside the cart drawer and let shoppers pay with an accelerated method such as Shop Pay, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Amazon Pay or Venmo.
Express checkout buttons allow customers to skip the standard checkout form and pay with the details already saved in their wallet.
Cartly provides the button container. Shopify controls which buttons appear, in what order, and how many, based on the payment providers enabled in your store.
How to enable express checkout buttons?
In your Shopify admin, enable the payment providers you want to offer.
In the app, go to Custom Cart.
In the left sidebar, open Features → Express checkout buttons.
In the Express checkout buttons panel, click Enable.
To display Express Checkout buttons on your storefront, you must first activate the Express/Accelerated checkout providers in your store’s payment settings. Without activating these, the buttons will not appear to customers. To learn how to enable these providers, visit this Shopify Dynamic Checkout guide.
What you can configure:
Buttons layout — Horizontal or Vertical
Preview buttons — tick providers to see how the buttons will look in the preview
Note: The preview checkboxes are for preview only. They do not enable buttons on your storefront — that depends on the payment providers enabled in your Shopify store.
