👉 Choose layouts visually
The Module type and Card type dropdowns have been replaced by a single Layout picker with thumbnails, so you can see what each option looks like before you choose it. The available layouts are unchanged.
Where you'll find it:
Custom cart → Upsells and cross-sells
Custom cart → Empty cart recommendation
Reward bar, on Free gift tiers set to Manual selection
What to know:
Your current layouts stay exactly as they are.
New stores now start with Block with a vertical card for Empty cart recommendations. Revert to Default also uses this layout.
👉 A lighter, faster storefront
Cartly's storefront script is now almost half its previous size, so every page of your store loads less code.
What to know:
When Express checkout is turned off in Cartly, Shopify's wallet payment scripts no longer load on your storefront.
Estimated delivery dates look and work the same as before.
🛠 Fixes
👉 Region-limited reward tiers now match checkout
A tier limited to specific states or provinces now shows only to shoppers in those regions. Previously, shoppers elsewhere could see a reward they wouldn't receive at checkout.
👉 Popup cart shows the subtotal and checkout button again
In the Popup cart, the subtotal and the checkout button label could appear blank. Both now display correctly.
👉 Add-on toggles stay in sync with the cart
After an add-on was switched on and off several times, its toggle could show it as off while it was still in the cart, and the shopper was charged for it. The toggle now always matches the cart.
