👉 Named discount badges in the cart footer
Discounts in the cart footer now appear as separate, named badges instead of a single combined Total savings line.
Each discount is shown on its own, e.g., ◆ PROMOCODE (-$10.00). This way, shoppers can see exactly what's been applied.
This covers:
Manual discount codes
Automatic discounts
Free shipping — shown as a badge with no amount
To control the display, two new toggles are available in Cart Settings → Footer → "Show total savings":
Show applied discount tags — displays individual badges with each discount's name and amount
Include compare-at-price savings — choose whether compare-at price differences are counted in the total
Note: There are no visual changes for existing merchants by default. The new badge display is opt-in — turn it on with the toggles above whenever you're ready.
This gives shoppers a clearer breakdown of their savings at a glance, while leaving you in control of exactly which discounts and price differences are shown.
