👉 Country-specific thresholds for reward tiers
You can now set different spending thresholds per country within the same reward tier — so the bar to unlock a reward can vary by location without needing separate tiers.
Enable country-specific thresholds in the Geolocation settings section of any tier. Once enabled:
Add one or more country rules, each with its own minimum threshold
Customers from those countries will see the override threshold
Everyone else sees the default threshold
A common use case is free shipping: set a higher threshold for markets with expensive shipping costs (e.g. Australia) and a lower one for markets where shipping is cheaper (e.g. United States) — without building separate tiers for each.
This setting is available for free shipping and custom reward types.
👉 Limit reward bar tiers to specific states & provinces
The Show this tier to selected countries only setting now supports state and province-level targeting — previously it worked at the country level only.
When selecting countries for a tier, you can now expand any country to pick individual states or provinces, following the same pattern as Shopify's shipping zone setup. This is available for free shipping and custom reward types.
Once states or provinces are selected, the country tag reflects the selection at a glance — for example:
United States (2 of 62 states)
Canada (3 of 13 provinces)
Countries selected without drilling into states continue to apply the tier to the entire country as before.
