How does the upgrade process work?
When this feature is enabled, customers will see a checkbox under to eligible products in their cart that offer subscription options. By selecting this checkbox, it will expand into a block with a dropdown, allowing customers to choose from different subscription options if available.
Can I control the downgrade option?
Yes! You have the flexibility to decide whether or not to allow customers to downgrade back to a one-time purchase. If you choose to disable this option, once the checkbox is selected and a subscription plan is chosen, the checkbox will disappear, preventing any downgrade to a one-time purchase.
Variables
For the subscription plans label, Cartly uses {subscription_plan_name} by default.
This variable is also set via your subscription app and inherited automatically.
